SPARK is a national study committed to helping create a better future for individuals with autism and their families by speeding up autism research.
The University of Miami & Nova Southeastern University-CARD (Center for Autism & Related Disabilities) is hosting SPARK at the Miami Lakes office to help families complete their SPARK study registration.
You’re invited to SPARK & Treat with UM-NSU CARD’s staff on Saturday, October 30th in Miami Lakes!
WHAT: Individuals with a professional diagnosis of autism and their biological family (both parents are encouraged to participate) will be asked to share brief information of the diagnosis and provide a DNA sample using a saliva collection kit.
Registrants will receive:
• Trick or Treat at UM-NSU CARD Branch office in Miami Lakes
• SPARK will email an Amazon gift card up to $50 as a thank you gift
WHEN: Saturday, October 30th, 2021 openings from 10am-1pm

WHO: New individuals with autism of any age, and both biological parents. Returning Families requesting free saliva assistance from our SPARK staff supervised by BCBA-D certified faculty are invited too.
