Abuse and exploitation are constant dangers for people with developmental disabilities. According to a recent study, they are four to ten times more likely to be abused than their peers without disabilities.  In this workshop, adults with developmental disabilities and their families will learn what abuse is, what the signs of abuse are, what to do if you or a loved one has experienced abuse and what steps can be taken to reduce the risk of abuse.

The seminar is free and open to the community.  For more information, please call 954-909-0822 or email sglassman@jfsbroward.org.
