Broward House was founded in 1988 in response to a critical need for housing for HIV positive individuals. The mission of Broward House is to improve the quality of life for individuals impacted with chronic health challenges, including HIV, by providing pathways to wellness. Over 90% of the individuals are living with HIV. Annually, we serve nearly 4,000 persons living with and at risk for HIV through case management, behavioral health, supportive housing, and linkages to care and support services. Our affiliation with AHF (AIDS Healthcare Foundation), allows us to integrate medical care and treatment with our wrap-around support services, resulting in holistic care and treatment. In addition, we offer field-based and mobile outreach, HIV testing, and integrated screening.
